Scott Atkinson is a partner in Heidrick & Struggles San Francisco office and global managing partner of the Climate & Sustainability Practice. He is recognized as an industry expert by the leaders of the world’s foremost companies and organizations advancing the sustainable economy. Scott has a deep understanding of human capital trends within the corporate sustainability function, decarbonization, energy transition, climate technology, circular economy, and nature-based solutions.

Scott is also a member of the CEO & Board of Directors and Financial Officers practices, placing senior level executives with technology companies that are experiencing growth, innovation, restructuring, and international expansion. He works with clients in various stages of growth, including venture capital- and private equity-backed, and Fortune 500 companies.

Scott joined Heidrick & Struggles from Digital.ai, a TPG Capital-backed technology company dedicated to helping Global 5000 enterprises achieve digital transformation goals. Scott began his executive search career with a boutique firm, consulting with high-growth technology companies.
