Overview
Alvin Ng is a partner in Heidrick & Struggles’ Hong Kong office and a member of Global Industrial Practice. He works across multiple sectors, including label and packaging, industrial equipment and services, intelligent building automation, infrastructure, and construction services. He is also a member of the Supply Chain & Operations Officers Practice, working across industry verticals focusing on supply chain transformation and digitization, sustainability, and ESG development.
Experience
Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Alvin was with a global talent and organization advisory firm for 17 years, where he co-led the supply chain center of expertise for Asia Pacific and was part of the global supply chain leadership team. He was involved in various global projects related to C-level recruitment, leadership assessment, and strategic hiring to achieve the future-proof organization agenda.
In recent years, Alvin has worked closely with various global players in “The Gartner Supply Chain Top 25,” supporting their digital transformation journey by bringing on board digital-native talents and advising on their organizational strategies and talent roadmap for future supply chains.
Alvin started his search career with a boutique European firm and later the human capital advisory practice of a Big 4 accounting firm. He has worked across multiple practices, including financial services, consumer, technology, industrial, and NGO, and has a strong edge in technology development and business transformation. He is fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
