Overview

David Peck is a partner in Heidrick & Struggles’ San Francisco office where he leads Executive Coaching in the Americas. He focuses on CEO coaching, c-level talent optimization, and future leader readiness through scaled, bespoke executive coaching, assessments, and top team coaching. He collaborates firmwide to serve clients globally in technology, healthcare, financial services, and other sectors. 

Experience

For more than 16 years, David has assessed, advised, and coached more than 200 leaders and top teams, including Fortune 100 CEOs. He brings powerful curiosity and drive to each client along with the informed perspective of having been a senior operating executive in FinTech, a general manager with extensive P&L experience, and as a partner with Heidrick & Struggles.
His clients and their organizations are accelerating, putting premiums on agility, navigating ahead of change, resilience, and celebrating diversity. His work focuses on leaders at the intersection of the organization’s need to win and operating at higher levels of self-awareness, managing their impact on others, leading with a sense of purpose, and understanding how emotional Intelligence is integral to mobilizing, inspiring, executing, and delivering sustainable value. His clients appreciate his counsel, candor, good humor, pragmatism, and ability to quickly grasp their unique organizational needs and challenges.

Earlier in his career, David was COO of Charles Schwab & Company’ largest division where he led the integration of a FinTech acquisition and founded and led the Schwab Clearing business from zero to over $20 billion in assets and profitability in less than three years. Previously, David was a principal at PriceWaterhouse Management Consulting Services division before it was acquired by another organization. There he focused on developing and leading projects related to technology and operational strategy with financial services firms on and off Wall Street.
