Experience
With 20 years of experience as a leadership advisor to a range of industries in Asia, Australia and the United Kingdom, Max has completed numerous regional and global CEO and country managing director searches for IT services, digital infrastructure, SaaS technology, and internet organizations. He has expertise in managing partner and partner searches for consulting, assurance, and advisory firms.
Max has experience leading CEO and C-level searches on the behalf of boards in addition to consulting on reshaping management teams across sales, finance, human resources, strategy, technology, product, and engineering. He has worked with a range of ownership structures including publicly listed, founder-led, and private equity-owned organizations.
He has led technology officer searches including chief information officer, chief technology officer, chief digital officer and chief information security officer for industries including mining, manufacturing, energy, software, government, banking, and professional services.
Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Max built a search practice focused on IT and professional services with a boutique firm in Australia. He began his career in talent in London, advising globally focused UK and US law firms.
