Maggie Mao is a principal in Heidrick & Struggles’ Beijing office and a member of the Financial Services Practice, specializing in senior-level searches in asset management, banking, lending, and private equity.
Experience
Maggie works with financial services clients to identify executive leaders, develop organizational strategies, and achieve business goals in Greater China. She advises clients in Chinese State-Owned Enterprises, local conglomerates, and global institutions.
Maggie has more than 15 years of professional experience in government, financial services, and executive search in China. Before joining Heidrick & Struggles, she was head of the Beijing office and director of financial services at a regional executive search firm. She completed various local and regional assignments with Chinese and multinational companies.
Previously, Maggie was a consultant with a boutique search firm, primarily focusing on investment banking and asset management assignments across China. Earlier in her career, she served in the Beijing Municipal Government.
