Sara Råsmar

Sara Råsmar is a principal in Heidrick & Struggles' Stockholm office and a member of the Financial Services and CEO & Board of Directors practices. She helps clients across industries recruit senior executives at the C-suite and board level.

Sara gained both board and CEO perspectives from her experiences in both commercial and non-profit organizations, as well as knowledge of sales, digitalization, communications, marketing, HR, IT, business development, and finance. She also has deep industry knowledge and a strong network within the insurance industry and broad knowledge of the finance industry.

Sara has experience bringing diversity and inclusion and ESG matters into the recruitment process from both a business and strategic perspective. Most recently, she worked with another executive search firm where she focused on growth companies and diversity and inclusion.

Prior to her career in executive search, Sara was the secretary general and CEO of the Swedish Insurance Society. In this role, she created an insurance-focused advertisement site in Sweden and developed a successful business area within education. Before that, Sara worked at Marsh McLennan. She began her career at Agria.

Sara is a member of the board of the capital management committee of the insurance company Länsförsäkringar Stockholm and previously served on the audit committee. She is fluent in Swedish and English.
