Elmer Velasquez is a partner in Heidrick & Struggles’ New York office and managing partner of global strategic accounts. He is a member of the global Technology, Private Equity, Venture Capital, and the CEO & Board of Directors practices.
Experience
Elmer specializes in senior-level leadership search assignments across various sectors, including professional services, consulting and advisory, IT services and outsourcing, enterprise software, hardware and systems, and business services. He works with leading global organizations, both public and private, as well as several of the top firms in private equity and venture capital, helping them retain chief executive officers, chief operating officers, division general managers, chief strategy officers, global practice leaders, sales and business development leaders, and senior consulting partners.
Before joining Heidrick & Struggles, Elmer was head of human resources and corporate services for Indra Sistemas in Asia, a global technology solutions and services company based in Spain. He was also the firm's practice leader for strategy and HR consulting in the region.
