Overview
Gordon McCree is a principal in Heidrick & Struggles’ London office. He is a member of the global Technology & Services Practice and co-leads the Industrial Tech sector in Europe & Africa. Gordon focuses on commercial, digital and technology officers, and digital transformation within corporates, partnering across industry sectors, from mobile, hardware, and infrastructure to software and platforms.
Experience
Gordon has built relationships across the mobile, telecoms, digital, and media leadership communities. He advises organizations on integrating and leveraging technologies that are presently transforming business such as automation, cloud, data, machine learning, and IoT. He works across a variety of sectors, including business to consumer, direct to consumer, and business to business for public, private, and private equity-backed organizations.
Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Gordon was head of executive recruiting for Vodafone Group, where he was a founding member of the team that established the first in-house executive search function. Previously, he spent a decade at another leading executive search firm as part of the technology practice, during which time he lived and worked in London and India.
