Laila has nearly twenty years of experience hiring top legal talent for listed companies, multinationals, private equity-backed and privately held businesses, and top investment firms.
Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Laila was managing director of a leading boutique legal recruitment firm, where for 12 years, she led the business, which was focused on building in-house legal functions for clients across all industries, both in the UK and internationally. She focused on recruiting general counsel, chief legal officers, and their leadership teams in the UK, Continental Europe, and Asia Pacific.
