Overview

Dan Kirk is a principal in Heidrick & Struggles’ Philadelphia office and a member of Heidrick Consulting, focusing on executive assessment, development, and coaching, across a range of industries. He is passionate about helping leaders excel and create productive, engaging work environments.

Experience

For seven years prior to Heidrick & Struggles, Dan was a senior talent consultant with Right Management, where he led global leader assessment and development programs for Fortune 500 and mid-sized organizations across a range of industries. He also provided executive coaching to enhance leadership effectiveness, primarily in the life sciences, utilities, and manufacturing sectors. While there, Dan developed a niche in helping technical experts influence their broader organizations.

Dan also co-created Right’s first inclusive leadership development program, advised on building ERG organizations, as well as recruiter anti-bias training. He earned recognition for his outstanding contributions to inclusive leadership from Right Management in 2021.

Prior to his time at Right, Dan was an expert practitioner for North Highland consulting, where he advised on change leadership and executive team effectiveness. Dan was nominated to their high-potential employee acceleration program.

He started his professional career at Oliver Wyman, where he joined the Delta practice specializing in CEO and board effectiveness. As a senior associate, he led organizational research, assessment, and intellectual capital development for Fortune 500 CEOs, senior teams, and boards.
