Frazer Wilson


Frazer Wilson is a partner in Heidrick & Struggles’ Sydney office and a member of the Financial Services Practice across Asia Pacific and the Middle East. He leads the FinTech sector for the region and is a member of the CFO Practice, having appointed a diverse range of chief financial officers globally, and the Diversity & Inclusion Practice.


Frazer has been instrumental in building the firm’s capability across the financial institutions market and has been a major contributor to building one of the largest and most successful Asia-Pacific financial services client relationships. Much of his work over the past few years has been working with senior leaders across a variety of financial institutions to embrace disruption, operating model change, productivity, and digitization.

He has more than fifteen years’ experience providing counsel to a range of domestic and global financial institutions leaders in the United Kingdom, Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. Frazer’s expertise spans consumer financial services, insurance, asset management, institutional and investment banking. He has made senior-level appointments including chief executives, managing directors, and heads of business.

Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Frazer was responsible for the financial services practice in Sydney for a boutique executive search firm. He began his career in the executive recruitment industry in London with a UK-publicly listed recruitment organization, where he specialised in the European retail and institutional financial services fields.

Frazer’s early career was spent in treasury for the Bank of Scotland and finance and marketing related roles for Shell UK.
